What an amazingly creative chef, consistently incredible service and the host make sure every detail is taken care of flawlessly We are regulars and love how the menu changes and new exciting specials show up all the time. Everything is amazing but we do have favorites in particular The Crepe appetizers and the Jagerschnitzel and whatever duck creation they do. Had our anniversary dinner there last night and everything was perfection, as usual. We've come here many times over the years and it's about time we left a review because this place deserves all the stars. Never had a bad meal or service and there's something to be said about consistency. Thanks for ending our anniversary celebration on a high note. See you soon!
Went for the fall menu and loved everything we tried. The chanterelle mushroom risotto was so rich and fresh. Our waiter was friendly, patient and made sure we were taken care of the whole dinner. Will definitely be back.
Love the duck. So juicy and flavorful. Tuna tartar is very fresh and full of flavor. Pork chop is great as well. But wishing the bread should served warm not cold
Every time I visit The Village Green I leave feeling so full and happy that I am already planning my next visit by the time I get into my car. Nestled on a side street across from a church in Ridgewood, NJ, this cute restaurant has me dreaming about it's food long after I have left. If you are up for a food marathon, they offer a tasting menu that will have you rolling out of the restaurant by the time you are finished. If you do not want to commit to all that, the ala carte menu and daily specials are always amazing, the short rib and various house made pastas especially stick out. The staff is not only exceptionally well trained to create a seamless dining experience, but they are incredibly friendly and personable which adds that extra zest to an enjoyable night out. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, whether it be for a special occasion, date night, or even a meal to go, The Village Green has driven the culinary arts to a new precipice.
Village Green is our go to date night spot! The food is so delicious, everything on the menu is good, the chef is really spectacular. Our favourites are the short rib, pastas, and soups. The service is also great! I would highly recommend trying this restaurant to anyone.
Superb service, excellent food. Our server Bob was ultra professional. Appetizer + Main was about $120 for 2 so on the expensive side but we'll worth it if you want to fine dine. Book reservation before you go.
